The project sees the cooperation of the Asilo Bianco Association (that manages the Tornielli museum in Ameno) with the local administration of Ascona (in charge of the Local Modern Art Museum). The projects objective is to create a virtuous circle that uses contemporary art as the means to enhance and promote the areas involved. The art work collection will be exchanged within the two areas and expositions and meetings will be organized to discuss cultural and historical experiences. Learning activities related to the two areas experiments on contemporary expressions will also be organized. The project aims at achieving cultural growth and greater awareness of the areas own historical identity that will result in economic growth and an increase in tourist related activities.
