The project named "Developing the skills of future professionals in plant protection through the European experience" addresses a group of 10 students and 10 teachers from the Post-secondary school of Liceul Tehnologic Nr.1 Mărăcineni. They will participate in training activities in companies in Montijo Portugal, successfully working in the field of horticulture. The project responds to the objectives of the Erasmus + Programme from European Guide 2015, and the objectives of the National Programme. The main objective aims diversifying and developing social and professional skills of the students and teachers through practical training sessions and job shadowing activities in the European context. By accomplishing the set objectives, the project will facilitate the transfer, recognition and accumulation of assessed learning outcomes, in order to train average qualified students in the field of agriculture and will ensure the development of flexible and personalized pathways for students. Training activities will support the mobility of participants with examples of good practice, applied learning techniques, elements of learning motivation, etc. which will provide participants, teachers and students, transferring higher quality experiences that will allow them the best use of the potential and will prepare them for a good start in life. European experience promotes linguistic and cultural diversity responding to the needs and interests of professional development of practitioners and trainers in the field of agriculture, specialized in plant protection. It also seeks the optimal use of results, innovative products and processes acquired by the participants, as well as the exchange of good practices in training specialists with average skills in agriculture, aiming to improve the quality of education at Liceul Tehnologic Nr.1 Mărăcineni.Therefor, the school will promote the implementation of good practice experiences, the consolidation of the European dimension, the support of performance and of collaborative relationships with European institutions. The project plan was approved by the Administrative Council of the school and its legal representative. In developing the application form, we started by analysing the needs of students and teachers at the Post-secondary school, realized by the Committee for Improvement and the Committee for Evaluation and Quality Assurance. Project management team at Liceul Tehnologic Nr.1 Mărăcineni, together with representatives of AFPDM will handle good project implementation, participants monitoring, development of the working schedule, mobility plan, evaluation of the project, realization of Final Report, Document of Mobility initiation, registration on the Mobility Tool Platform and financial matters throughout the project. The project will consist of two mobility programmes, one for students and one for teachers to AFPDM and its partners, Cooperativa Agricola Santo Isidro De Pegões and Florineve of Montijo. Target teams will be selected after an exam and each will participate in an internship training that will focus on the transfer, improvement and updating of skills, methods and innovative practices in the field of professional training . Skills acquired by the participants during the training will be certified by Europass Mobility document, signed and stamped by the legal representative of the reference organization and the training provider. Guidance of the participants, carried out by representatives of the host organization, will provide advice and help them to integrate into a new socio-economic and cultural environment throughout the training stage. Dissemination of experience gained by the participants will be achieved by applying it in the educational process, presentation of results at symposiums, workshops, communication sessions at a local and national level. The project will be implemented over a year and has an estimated budget of 37320 Euros. It includes transport for participants from the place of residence to the place where they will be trained, the money allocated for subsistence (accommodation, meals, local transportation, medical insurance), and the money for the project. The skills and abilities developed by the participants as a result of collaboration with the Portuguese partner, will improve cooperation with Portuguese traders in the area, to conduct specialized practical training and selection of professionals who can contribute to the economic development of the societies involved.
