This project studied and apply the use of state-of-the-art digital tools (web2.0) in the context of adult education. The main aims was the strengthening of adult teacher's skills, the use of more pupil-friendly teaching approaches as well as the effective integration of modern pedagogical methods, such as inquiry-based learning and the encouragement of creative thinking through the use of digital tools and technological merits. The project was undertaken by Openmellon, Larissa, Greece and included activities for teachers training abroad that comprised of two mobility flows. The first flow refered to training, managing and using the rapid developing technological achievements. The second flow refered to training with blended method, using asynchronous platform and face to face training. The practices, the methodology and the results of the project widely disseminated to the educational community and the society at large, providing a step forward not only for adult educators but also for adults training towards the vision of the Digital Agenda 2020.
