The main aims of this application are to develop the linguistic and cultural competences of the teachers of Marie Soboul School who attend each mobility. - The immediate impact of these proposed mobilities would be to support the multilateral Comenius project 2013-2015 (involving five European partner schools, co-ordinating the project and the employment of a Comenius assistant). - In the long term these professional development opportunities with directly support the future projects which we plan to develop (including mobility of pupils, Comenius Regio partnership with the city council). Five candidates chosen by the team are: - The Director for her representative position at European meetings - A teacher – coordinator of the project within the institution and within the expanded European team, to enable her to acquire more fluency in speaking for management of the meetings and e-mail exchange - A teacher who wishes to enter in the practice of DNL - Two teachers who are responsible for the collaborative website of the European partnership Planned management methodology of the project is: - Direct evidence - Uploading the resources collected during the training sessions and teacher´s sheets developed in the course of the project on the collaborative website The expected results: - At the level of the teachers: a significant expansion of skills in the field of linguistics and in specific aspects of education (DNL teaching, use of the digital technology in practice of teaching languages) and in more specific training - At the level of the students: more effective learning as a result of more effective teaching, the development of greater European awareness - At the level of the public in initial or continuous training: an example of commitment to an ambitious and demanding form of continuous training. To make competence 14 of the competences of school teachers desirable and achievable. - At the level of the educational community: an inspirational and successful partnership (school, parents, city council, Education Nationale) in the service of the European ideal.
