Overall objective of the project: To contribute to promotion of economic and social development of Jurbarkas District and Kaliningrad City by cooperating in tackling common problems of tourism infrastructure development. Achievements: 1. Jurbarkas Mansion Park and Kaliningrad Maks Ashmann parks are put in order; 2. The exposition Jurbarkas for Tourists is established; 3. The publications Jurbarkas Mansion Yesterday and Today, Jurbarkas – a Region for Tourists, Lithuania–Kaliningrad and Management of Parks as Tourism-Recreational Objects are issued;4. The Russian language is introduced on the Jurbarkas tourism website; 5. Two festivals Continuation of the 19th century S.Vasilčikov Mansion Traditions are organised; 6. The romance song evenings at the Russian orthodox church of Jurbarkas Mansion are organised;7. The exhibition The Green Attire of Kaliningrad is prepared; 8. The conferences and seminars Use of Recreation Territories and Cultural Heritage Objects for Public Needs, Development of urban parks as objects of tourism recreation and Green zones as a part of positive image of the city are held; 9. The creative camps for Kaliningrad City technical university students and Jurbarkas town schoolchildren are organised.
