The neighbouring villages Şimian and Bagamer are facing each of them with a problem of a joint interest: the lack of a sewerage system to collect the rain or waste-waters and to stop conducting them directly to the local valleys (e.g. the Salcia Valley from Şimian) or infiltrating into the soil. The project aims at the cross-border region development by finding infrastructural solutions to reduce significantly water and soil pollution in Şimian-Bagamer area.The main activity of the project is the elaboration of technical studies and plans (the topographical and geotechnical studies, the feasibility study and technical plans, the jouint FS and CBA studies); these plans design the sewerage networks in the two communes and a joint water purification. The target group is formed by:• Households form the two communes (1200 estimated units)• Local SMEs of the target area. Bagamér: 36 units (Primary s. 6, Secondary s. 5, Tertiary s. 25) and Şimian: 80 units (Primary s. 7, Secondary s. 26, Tertiary s. 47)• Schools from the target area (at least 4 units)• Local service providers• The local governments of Şimian and Bagamer.1200 estimated units)• local SMEs of the target area.
