Overall objective of the project is to improve quality of life, to increase socio-economic attractiveness and competitiveness of the area. The project shall facilitate tourism and agrotourism development of Zagórz Commune and Town of Horodok through better protection of the environment. It is supposed to reduce quantity of sewage coming to the natural environment.The project activities include building and modernization of the sewerage system in the Commune of Zagórz, building of the sewerage and stormwater collection systems in the City of Horodok, construction of pipeline pumping stations. The project will not only result in increased number of households/buildings connected to the sewage system. It will bring also new quality for local companies and investment areas now with access also to the sewage system.Another result shall also be improvement of the skills of local self-government authorities of the Zagórz Commune and the City of Horodok in area of environment protection investments and increase of the awareness of the inhabitants of the environmental issues.
