In the framework of the Külker Rowing Club, the development of the Budapest stationof the Bratislava-Budapest water touring route was realized. Reconstruction of themain and auxiliary buildings of the station and of the boat store was completed; afitness room, locker rooms, a boat repair workshop and a landing stage were built asnew facilities. Premises were equipped with new fittings and equipment; the yard andthe garden was also managed to be rearranged. Two coxed open boats with four pairsof paddles, three coxed touring boats with two pairs of paddles and a boat carrier trailerwere bought. The Club organized a rowing tour in the summer of 2007; experiencestherefrom were used for producing a water tour guide in Hungarian, Slovakian,German and English. The Club also developed its webpage to provide comprehensiveinformation on water tour programs.
