The wider objective of the project is improvement Georgian students’ employability by developing and implementing career education services (CES) in Georgian HEI and ensuring unbiased evaluation of CES.The project is meant:- To prepare methodological and IT tools for providing CES for students at Georgian HEI;- To train the staff of Georgian partner HEI to provide CES for students;- To implement pilot CES for students at Georgian partner HEI;- To explore possibilities for CES implementation at all Georgian HEI;- To organize dissemination of the project results in periodical press, at the website and using other channels. The project consortium consists of MESG, 7 Georgian HEI, 3 EU HEI and a large international private company.A framework of career management competences, as well as methodological and IT tools for career education will be developed within the project. A detailed quality evaluation of the project results and recommendations for improvement of CES will provide a basis for further development of project activities. The project results are influential: graduates of Georgian HEI who have acquired strong career management competences will allow the country to have a more flexible and competitive labour market. In a broader perspective, the project will have an impact on the whole HE system of Georgia in terms of increased variety of services for students and making them more goal-oriented and career-oriented. This will, in turn, increase a demand for high-quality studies.
