The project DEVELOPING STRATEGIES, METHODOLOGY AND ICT TOOLS TO TEACH ENGLISH AND TO COMMUNICATE WITH EUROPEAN SCHOOLS aims to promote the use of the foreign language, English, among our teachers and students. Our school has been encouraging the use of English for the past 15 years by participating in language projects and international multilateral partnership projects . The main aim is to improve the teachers' and students' foreign language skills. This new project guides the continuity of our previous work. The project is based on using English to: - Teach non-language content in the context of CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) - Introduce English at early ages - Serve as a communication vehicle with European partners in eTwinning or Erasmus + KA2 projects - Enhance the use of digital resources in teaching of the foreign language The scheduled mobility activities aim to improve six faculty members English skills. This will increase the supply of teaching English at school. Our expectations are: - To achieve better results in our foreign language skill assessments applied to our students - To promote the overall participation of teaching staff in international projects - To foster the use of digital resources related to the foreign language The impact is believed to affect these three areas: a. Impact on teachers participating in the mobility, as they will improve their command of English language and knowledge on new teaching strategies b. Impact on the school thanks to the new abilities acquired by these teachers c. Impact on students who may experience greater exposure to the English language due to the increased number of teachers trained
