Developing Potentials of Village Tourism In Cross-Border Region

The project promotes co-operation between regional institutions in rural tourismdevelopment. Objectives are mapping of the business entities currently dealing withrural tourism, research of the opportunities and target groups interested for ecotourismdevelopment and other relevant activities grounded on Hungarian experiencesand knowledge. In order to develop tourism in this attractive area it is intended toprepare marketing plan of the joint cluster and create cross border programme packagewhich would be similar to EU tourist standard. Other concrete objectives are publishingjoint brochures and setting up a website.
