The present project develops a joint cross-border rescue unit of volunteers, which will support the prevention, emergency and rescue interventions of the exist bodies in this field. The target group of the project are 36 volunteers (24 RO, 12 HU) from the 2 counties.The main activities of the project besides the management and communication ones, are trainings which develop the rescue skills of 36 Romanian and Hungarian volunteers. They will be trained in: mountain rescue, water rescue, diving, dog rescue, cave rescue, air surveillance, first aid and rescue in other special emergency situations. Some of the participants will attend basic level trainings and some of them advanced level ones. 2 diving trainers are formed through the project, so they will be able to train other volunteers for the new created unit. The new unit will be integrated in the rescue system of the 2 cross-border counties (through 4 workshops and 1 conference), assuming through a partnership agreement and a joint developed rescue plan, that it’s formed experts with special rescue skills action if needed.Among the project results: 1 joint plans prepared for the cross-border emergency situations, 36 people trained.
