Start date: Dec 1, 2010,

The objectives of the proposed project is to provide exchanges of Bachelors students between the EU and Australian partners Students will undertake lectures, exercises, studios, practical case studies in courses and workshops, and study of building types on the implementation of sustainable architectural designs. This will facilitate crucial research and practice employment opportunities. Students will then participate in the “Designing the New World” workshop which will be reviewed by industry partners. A total of 54 students will be exchanged. The education of future architects and designers will be framed around one of the most important issues of our time, designing in a world adapting to climate change. Each institution will benefit from the personal and professional relationships. Broad reflection on the pedagogical aspects of the program will result in significant innovations in teaching/learning environments.
