The social environnement in which the pupils of the school are progressing does not favor cultural opening. Indeed, there isn't any infrastructure around except a ludotheque that can welcome the pupils and their parents during the free time. Consequently school is the only cultural mediator that is proposed to them. Many efforts have been done in this sense by the Academy Department, the Inspection an the municipality but many obstacles still remain and things hardly progress. The scholar population of the nighbourhood takes advantage of priority education and is part of a group named ECLAIR that is to say the school is classified among the schools having the most difficulties. Facing this analysis, the teaching team, steady and engaged, would like to make the pupils discover Europe by other means than books so that this notion becomes less abstract to them and easier to reach. The project of mobility aims at giving a European dimension to our school project which main axes refer to Art History, sciences and litterature. Thus we have chosen two classes proposed by association "Landscape and heritage" : Class 3 : the garden as a living monument, the teaching skills of European garden heritage that will take place in Portugal and Spain. Class 1 : the teaching skills of Art and Garden Heritage through literature, arts and sciences in Italy. The allow a wide and fast spreading to the whole scholar team, seven teachers who are in the charge of Art History and sciences, coming from grade school have been selected to attend thoses classes. The headmistress, a former education consultant will have the opportunity of sharing this European experience during the district training and to help the scholar teams who wish to lead the same project in the future. The activities planned at school are focused on three items : knowledges, creativity, exchanges thanks to the part played by the classes. The computer tool will be widely used for creativity and exchanges. Work will be circulated : -during the school opendoor days, -through a public exhibition in a town place specially prepared to the event, -through the school blog put online, the district website and the etwinning platform as well. The expected outcomes for the participants will be a strengthening of innovative professional skills which allow them to implement European art history in the school, an improvement of knowledge, an ability to share and a greater interest to make the pupils progress, the parents and the whole neighbourhood as well. The other teachers of the school will work progressively towards the creation of commune projects and mutual works. Pupils will be offered a humanist and computer culture through art performing, knowledges on landscape and they will show a bigger interest for Europe.
