"Des Centres de Vacances en Roumanie pour le Bonheur des Enfants ! "
Start date: Jan 1, 2015, End date: Dec 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

15 Romanian animators of Pays de Hateg and 10 French teenagers from Quimper (in south Brittany), all of them voluntaries, conduct the project of organising together 5 bilingual holiday centres in August 2015. The headquarters of the centres would be placed in the schools of these rural communes of the Carpathians, under the authority of their town hall directions. QSOPH (Quimper Santamaria Orléa pays de Hateg), an association based in Quimper, coordinates this project in partnership with the inter-municipal association of Pays de Hateg. The 2015 project, « Holiday Centres in Romania for the Happiness of Children » (CVRBE) implies numerous partnerships, in France as well as in Romania (5 Romanian schools, 2 accueils de loisirs without accommodation in France). To answer to the leisure demand for the summer holidays addressed by some other schools and communes, CVRBE would organise 5 centres, as there was 1 centre in 2012, 2 in 2013 and 3 in 2014. The animators are in a training and evolution dynamics: 11 Romanian animators obtained their professional certificate in 2014. That is for the first time in Pays de Hateg. And they are eager to evolve and continue to professionalize themselves. In Romania, the animation sector for children is very poor and the participants do not have many references in this field. Sometimes difficulties of mutual comprehension may occur between animators of 2 different nationalities living in different contexts. This reality ended up with the birth of CVRBE whose aims are to improve and professionalize the Romanian animators at all levels. Living and working together in a tolerance and overture spirit during a whole month enable the direct and indirect participants to focus on common values and eliminate damaging elements that could perturb the holiday centres. Because the project is, above all, about a state of mind. That’s what the partners of the project desire. CVRBE would take place in several stages: The first stage in February 2015, would allow a group of 25 Romanians to discover in France the field of children and youth animation and to build together with their French partners the pedagogical project of the centres in 2015 which would rely on bilingualism and creativity through art in all its forms. In May, a group of French, during a coordination project, would go to Pays de Hateg in order to identify the material and logistical conditions and prepare the practical context for the execution of the project. In July, 6 young Romanian animators would integrate the accueils de loisirs without accommodation in Quimper, Briec ... They would be placed in professional contexts during 1 month. They would integrate a team and manage a group of children. In august CVRBE becomes reality: 5 holiday centres would open and principals, teachers, animators French and Romanian would meet in order to put into practice the common pedagogical project and assure the running of different activities. 200 children would be concerned. The communication on this project would be organised through various organisations, press, a blog, and different meetings, participation on local events…all along the stages of the project and Romania, and in France as well. During the project, CVRBE must offer a precious and valuable experience to his actors. To succeed in an animation programme of a bi-national team is a source of satisfaction for each of the parts and an experience accompanied by several benefices that ameliorates the professional competences and enriches human relations. Some of them could validate their competences through the youthpass. CVRBE 2015 should also prepare the 2016th edition which would build the organisation of all these centres with better trained animators.
