This Project is prepared for ERASMUS+ KA3 – Structured Dialogue: Meetings Between Young People and Decision-Makers in the Field of Youth. Target Group is 18-30 youth who are interested in history/art/design/photography. Project duration is 8 months.General Scope is due to the rapid increase of population in today's society and its structural complexity and raising expectations of citizens from the state, implementation of real and direct democracy in practice is not easy; therefore there is a need for individuals who have democratic values and pass on these experiences.Transnational tensions, incidents due to interpersonal conflict in countries and violence in all segments of societies show us that democracy education is an immediate need. This is the origin of the project.General objective of the project, to contribute the creation of democratic environment where democracy is detected as a way of life.Specific objective of the project, to ensure the development of dialogue between decision-makers and young people while improving/creating the positive effect on current democracy perception by allowing young people to gain values under this framework and internalize these values through education, design and photography.Activities planned to accomplish these goals is the general content of the project. Regarding to the content, participants will have a research locally on democratic concepts and principles in their history and explore values related to it. Later, they will find the motives that reflect those values which are symbolized with the local culture.The participants who have recognized democracy in the history will conduct a study to examine the understanding of today's democracy in European Union and Democratic Culture. Values included to conception for democracy in European Union will be reviewed and interpret by designing in symbolic sense by the participants.
