The aim of the project was to promote the intercultural dialogue, social inclusion and solidarity through dances, as well as to promote international cooperation in the field of youth. The objectives of the project were the following: - to include young people from Latvian, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Czech Republic in the project; - to improve the dancing skills and sense of rhythm of the project participants; - to give the youth of EU the opportunity to explore new culture, traditions; - to give the youth the opportunity to learn more about Europe through the dances to challenge their stereotypes about different cultures; - to be tolerant and to know more about the traditions and social realities of another country with the help of dances, learning from one another working in groups; -To give the young people the possibility to learn the cultures of different countries with the help of dances. Profile of participants and the number of participant: 29 young people 15-30 years old from Latvia, Greece, Turkey, Spain and Czech Republic were involved in the project. Activities and used methods: There were organised the following activities: dance master classes, creative workshops, presentation of art works, the presentation of the partner countries and national dances, morning gymnastics etc. There were used the following non-formal education methods: ice-breaking activities, intercultural evenings, excursions, creative workshops, orienteering, presentations, presentations of dances, evaluation, farewell activities. Results of the project: The project partner countries gained the experience in the organisation of the international dance project, the youth were acquainted with the basics of dance art, as well as they created their own self dance, improved their English language knowledge and communication skills. The project gave the possibility to popularize ERASMUS+ programme and involve partner organizations in the project. The youth got more information about the methods of non-formal education and organisations, which were organizing the international projects, to give the possibility to every person to widen their horizons, to explore the cultures of European countries to be more involved in the cultural life of Europe.
