Да създадем нови перспективи!
Start date: May 1, 2016, End date: Jul 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

By realizing the long-term EVS project ‘Let’s create a new perspective!’ we set a goal to show in practice what it means to be an European volunteer and to promote the mobility opportunities it provides for young people of ‘Erasmus+’ program by creating conditions for motivation, growth and perspective for the developing of young people and the organizations involved in the project. The duration of the project is 11 months and the participants will be three young people from Spain, Slovakia and Serbia. The youngsters we’re welcoming, are people who are suffering from disadvantages in geographical, social, cultural and economical areas. The volunteer from Serbia has already been a part of our short-term EVS project in 2012, she’s from small town with a major in English Philology and unemployed for three years. The other two youths are also permanently unemployed. At the beginning of their voulnteering they will live and work in Sofia. The second part of their stay will take place in Sandanski where the yearly Balkan Youth Festival is held, and the third part of their stay will again be in Sofia. In their EVS project they will participate in activites related to the preparation, the realization and the promotion of the 21st Balkan Youth Festival ‘The Balkan Youth’ (BYF) – the biggest international youth event in Southeastern Europe. The young people will take part of the planning and the preparation of all the festival’s events including the festival program, the design and prepress of informational and advertising festival materials (posters, flyers, leaflets, presentations and etc.), publishing news on our website and our social network profiles, realizing specific events, summarizing and analyzing the final results, getting feedback from the participants, promoting of the EVS of the European 2016 year. With the participation in the EVS project our volunteers will develop their potential, self-esteem and confidence, by improving their organizational skills and entrepreneurial mindset; also communicational and language skills; technical and computer skills; ability to work with different types of media; the increase and the improvement of their creativity and responsibility, solidarity and tolerance to the differences. This progress will be contributed by the approaches and methods typical for the non-formal learning, which we'll be using on a daily basis - starting from interactive games and presentations to get to know each other, to working with international teams for the realization of the festival events, to the summarization and the analyzing of the achieved results and compiling reports and YouthPass certificates at the end of the project. In addition to that the project provides the participants with a chance of making valuable contacts, friendships and partnerships, to meet with the Bulgarian and the Balkan cultures and tradition, and to take a peek at the daily lives of the Bulgarian, Balkan and European young people. We believe that with participating in our project the youths will expand their horizons and find prospects for a sustainable development and realization, as are the EVS and 'Erasmus+' project's goals.
