The project "Getting profi - my portfolio of youth leader" is a training course that will run for 6 full days in the second half of the month July 2014. Theme of the project is the recognition and use of non-formal education for young people to improve their readiness for the labor market. Type of methods and tools to be used during the TC: presentations, working groups, energizers, reflection games and methods, Openers (also known as icebreakers), Action Learning - a combination of action and reflection by a team solving complex, strategic problems in a real-world organizational setting, Closers, Facilitated Activities will help teams analyze problems, formulate goals, generate alternative solutions, and make decisions, Informal learning activities – learning by doing activities; workshops, etc. The project partners are 25 representatives (23 participants and 2 trainers) of organizations from Bulgaria , Hungary , Turkey, Greece, Poland and Spain. These are youth workers and leaders having prior experience in the implementation of international youth projects as the head of a group / youth leader , and people with functions in the management of volunteers working with young people , their advice and assistance. At the end of this TC participants should be prepared to consult and help youngsters in identifying their developed skills and gained knowledge through participation in youth projects and activities; create their own portfolio of achievements and past experience, which can support them on the labor market. This is what a youth leader / worker should be competent to do and be. This project will provide concrete example of recognition of non-formal education and learning.
