The Project "To overcome distances - a healthy life in the Natural Park" Strandja " will provide an opportunity for cooperation and partnership between the partner organizations from Romania and Bulgaria . The exchange will take place in the unique natural conditions of the largest in southwestern Europe Natural Park "Strandja " between 03.09.2014 - 13.09.2014. Total number of participants will be 54 young people aged 13-30 years, which by the planned activities of the project, will have the opportunity to acquire valuable skills, will developed a number of attributes that will be on the basis of a healthy lifestyle through outdoor activities and mass sport. The project aims to enhance and promote the willingness of young people to practice outdoor activities and mass sport and by the methods of non-formal education to be interested in dealing with such activities, as a means of leading a healthy lifestyle. The project will include young people affected by the conduct of an unhealthy lifestyle, as by the methods of non-formal education they will improve the level of personal awareness and through sporting activities – will develop in them a more responsible attitude towards a healthy lifestyle. In the implementation of non-formal learning will be used is a variety of methods that include workshops and activities in nature and outdoors. Using in the project interactive methods will be as informal learning through experience, discussions, presentations as well as work in small mixed groups, role playing, active outdoor activities. Project activities will affect the participants, and developing the attitudes and skills, and related to their active participation – will develop skills in teamwork and working in intercultural environment, work-related skills in a natural environment and outdoors, organizational skills. All of this will be based on activity, initiative, implementation of new ideas to promote common European values as: mutual understanding, cooperation and equality. All acquired knowledge, the young people will be able to apply in their countries among local communities, drawing and others, which will extend the influence of the ideas set out in this project.
