The aim of the project is to publicize and celebrate the ancient links between the peoples of Wales and Ireland. Through the medium of re-enactment’s the two societies propose to create an awareness of the shared history of Ireland and Wales in the INTERREG area and beyond. The objectives are to develop a financially self sustaining programme of historical re-enactment’s and outputs that will lead to increased tourism and communication between Ireland and Wales.
