Living in the XXI century we are the wintnesses of many radical changes evolving in almost every area of our lives. For us, the teachers, especially important are the crucial transformations hapening in fields connected to teaching and raising.That is why the contemporary school must face complex tasks as well as new challenges. In order to get to the student you need to have a vast array of completely different tools than in XX the century. Now teachers, parents and children have gained the access to the new world of education that carries along the abundance of interactive and social tools or techniques. Traditional chalk and board and a good teacher may not appear anymore as a guarantee of the efectiveness of the educational process. The new student in the information society requires a completely different approach to teaching, that will allow him progress and convert into to the knowledge information given. The Project "Digital class - changing digital natives into competent students". The first phase involved a course in Ireland for a school coordinator of European Union's Projects as well as a leader of a school's EU club. The aim was to acquire helpful abilities in employing new technologies in the teachinng and learning proccess. The workshops contained such modules as creating a webpage , creating images, sounds and videos. What is more, it involved teaching how to use the variety of programmes, tools and platforms like e-Twinning. Amelioration of informatic competences of the teacher enabled them to bring into the class new stimulating methods, increase of the self-confidence and most importantly the expeience of carrying lessons crafted for developpig exact student's abilities that was more difficult to gain during traditional learnig. The participant became competent for creating the interactvie experience for the students. He iwas able to look up to the good examples of using th TIK which were demonstrated on the course. He will also be capable of using such programmes as Weebly, Prezi, Wordle, Scratch, Schoology, Audacity and more. She shared her knowlgde with coworkers and work effectively with a partenr schools as a coordinator and a partner. The school provided effective teaching methods and tools whereas the students were more motivated to improve their competences and abilities. The school gained appreciation from both: the local community and education authorities.
