Cyfroinnowcyjni-nieprzeciętni
Start date: Sep 1, 2015, End date: Aug 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project faces to identified needs of the people in the elderly age. The problem of the digital world as a barrier to increasing intergenerational distance, requiring urgent solution, was seen at the level of the partner organizations. Students of Universities of the Third Age from the Czech, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia and Turkey will take part in the project. The main target group will consist of 50-80 - year old students with a creative approach to reality, who are interested in active participation in the project. Each organization will have a designated group of 20 retired people (total 100).The staff will be involved as another group of participants (approximately 40 people). It is predicted that the total number of participants in the project will be about 140 people. The project activities will be focused on the implementation of own programs in the adult education within so called "Exercise Classes", where they will be created, different from the traditional schedule of teaching, experimental models of educational activities. The activities mentioned will be the subject of confrontation, discussions, polemics, analysis and conferences, which in effect will give the development of forms and methods of knowledge transfer. Developing common conclusions with the possibility of immediate implementation of the new methods will have an innovative character for the entire project. And therefore it is an innovation because each organization, depending on many external factors that determine the initial state of advancement of the project participants, performs tasks using their own methods. They will also be the main result and product of the product. At the initial stage, we specify the type of actions and tools for using them in subsequent educational processes. The target group will gain basic practical skills in the field of algebra, geometry, new media, ICT, English language, mother tongue, basic economics and entrepreneurship, as well as safe and environmentally friendly use of household appliances. Teaching and key staff will gain the competence in the area of methodology and management of the organization. The task is difficult, but doable. At the end will be proud to call ourselves " digital-innovative" and our students "unique" because we know that during the next few project years, they will gain extraordinary and desirable skills to safely navigate the "new digital world".
