Our institution is placed in Torrevieja, where there are a lot of inmigration, because of that we have more than 50 different nationalities.We have initiated a program of bilingualism in English. Currently it is taught in 1º of ESO but we want to progress and to introduce this program in High Level and Vocational Education.Our school does not have many teachers with an adequate level of English to teach in that language so that teachers need to be formed to guarantee students a quality education. We believe that to ensure the improvement of language teachers to teach in English with an adequate level that teachers need some training in an English-speaking country to be constantly surrounded by an environment that requires them to speak and think in English most of the time.Therefore, with this project we want to apply six mobilities for a general English course at a language school in Ireland. We have contacted this language center and, after analyzing the different courses, we decided to start with a general knowledge course because the first thing we need is an overall improvement of our teachers and in the future, to go further, to organize more specific training.This English's course will take place from Monday to Saturday : Monday to Friday classes will be at the academy, 26 hours per week, and Saturday participants will have outside extracurricular activities .We have asked 2 mobilities of 1 week , 3 mobilities of 2 weeks and 1 mobility of three weeks .The expected impact is that our institution will achieve the improvement in teachers' English language skills. This will allow us to have a group of qualified teachers. That will allow to them to be engaging and participating in the bilingual center project in English with an adequate level of language to teach in English.Students will also be benefited for receiving instruction in English, their language level will improve and that can open more opportunity to them to find an employment. Moreover, the fact of taking classes in English can create and increase European awareness.Another impact is the creation of a group of contacts in Dublin because the participants will be there they will contact with some companies or education institutions for future collaboration.Our objetives are :- Provide the staff of our institution an English course in Ireland.- Improving the teachers' English's level.- To get teachers with a good level in English so that they will can participate in the plan of bilingualism from our institution and to teach in this language.With this project, we expect the following results:- For our institution: to have a group of teachers to teach in English and to be part of the plan of bilingualism.- For teachers : to get a good level of English and be able to be part of the plan of bilingualism and teach in that language.- For students : to improve their English's level through classes taught by teachers participating in this project to ensure they are bilingual in English.
