This project wishes to highlight the consideration of the European cultures and languages, particularly of the minority ones, as a part of the large common European heritage. This project will encourage the transnational circulation of artistic and cultural works, as well the intercultural dialogue among the participating countries/regions.It aims to recreate the communication and relation atmosphere between different languages and cultures in the several Routes of Santiago:-By letting know pilgrims to Santiago the origin, evolution and richness of Galician language and its relation with other European languages -By exchanging goals, methods, experiences, results and studies on cultural and language tourism, for a better understanding of local and regional cultures and especially for promoting the idea of Europe as a superregional entity-By promoting the knowledge and information on European languages, those spoken at present and also in the past by pilgrims to Santiago.The specific objectives of the project are the following:-Create a steady collaboration framework to promote the European culture and languages linked to the Routes of Santiago in Europe, through the creation of a network involving a great part of the European regions related to pilgrimage to Compostela in the Middle Ages.-Promote the discussion to bring together the language and cultural plurality as elements to boost the cultural promotion of the Routes of Santiago.-Boost the knowledge on the European language diversity.-Help to create knowledge on the relation between tourism and languageThe planned actions are the following:1.Establishing a European network of cultural agents2.Organising the conference "Europe in its languages and cultures"3.Developing the strategic plan for the European network of cultural agents4.Travelling exhibition "Europe in the Routes of Santiago"5.Multilanguage website on the cultural history of the different European regions linked to the Route of Santiago
