«Cultural Kaleidoscope» project has as main priority is help to create and support a Sport and Cultural Formation Centre and Youth Exchange (SFCYE) in Associação Juvenil "Black Panthers" which is a youth association, in Cape Verde - Santiago Island. The "Black Panthers" have 2B years of experience, and works with their local community in 4 distinctive areas: Social, Cultural, Educative, Recreation and Sports. One of main aims of working in those areas is to better the youngsters living conditions through free time occupation. These youngsters are from Várzea da Companhia which is a neighbourhood in Praia City, capital of Cape Verde.Under the framework of «Cultural Kaleidoscope», 8 long term volunteers will develop social, cultural and pedagogical project, which aims to work with education based on dialogue and mechanisms of social animation, problematization and pedagogical innovative methods in the framework of the local social dynamic. Being aware that education is a right, this project is based in non-formal education using strategies that facilitate and stimulate the active participation of each and all youngsters. The whole project will be based in a close relation with the organizational context of, the work of educators, experiences, atitudes, knowledge and socio-professional relations.
