Cruise Connections: Sales and Marketing Campaign for Cruises Tourism Industry

Cruise connect is a partnership promoting the Kent and Nord-Pas-de Calais regions to the world cruise tourism industry. The sales and marketing campaign is targetted to stimulate interest in the regions and communicate the key message that we are a cruise friendly destinations. This will produce new business through: new ship calls to Dover/Boulogne; change turnround calls port of calls for longer stays, this will increase itineraries, pre post visits ans shore excursions stays. The regions need to build existing work undertaken through Interreg II, with the emphasis on new and attracting new commercial partners. Promotions and regrowth of seaside resorts, improve information and welcome for tourists.
