Our project aims to raise the profile of French across the curriculum with a specific focus on language development through reading and speaking and listening. We are currently delivering French to all year groups from Year 1 to Year 6 ( children aged 5 to 11years). We wish to develop staff knowledge, understanding and skills in French teaching and learning. This will include improving staff's skills in French. We also want to build capacity within the school to deliver high quality teaching in French alongside our objectives of raising outcomes in reading and speaking and listening for children. We believe that taking part in the project will impact upon our aims and objectives.
