The research project CEPEVIT aims at establishing scientifically, and further present to the general public, the social and economic perspectives of the current conversions in the relations centre – periphery, developed in Romania and Hungary. A special focus is given to cultural regionalism, contemporary visual arts in Oradea and Debrecen.The general objective of the project is establishing cross-border perspectives of the conversion in the relations of the centre and the periphery in the context of cultural regionalism and contemporary visual culture.Target groups: visual art students, artists, general publicThe main specific activities and results of the project are: research activities, workshops, study visits, exhibitions, publication of the study book, establishment of the website. Relevant research results can be used in a wide perspective and mean a good reference for people living and working in this region to develop their services and to build up new co-operations not only in the cultural field.
