The general objective of the project is to increase the level of the healthcare services in the cross-border area by the means of different trainings and conferences, renovation works and equipment endowment of both hospitals. The concept of common service is important for equalising the medical care opportunities for the population living on both sides of the border. The common treatment of the patients is assisted by an on-line connection between the hospitals and by transfer of radiological images. The target groups are the patients of the Dr. Bugyi István Hospital, the patients at the orthopaedics-traumatology department of the Dr. Karl Diel Hospital in Jimbolia as well the persons living in the district of the two hospitals, the counties Csongrád and Timis, and the DKMT region.
