The project aimed at developing partnerships between the Polish and Lithuanian police, as well as improving the cross-border region safety. Joint programs regarding preventing and combating crime (especially corruption and organised crime) in the cross-border area were developed. Common trainings were carried out, especially preparing the staff to manage cross-border chase and observation operation. The policemen were introduced to the legal rules and institutions of the neighbouring countries.Last, but not least many new contacts were made among the policemen of Poland and Lithuania.
