Context/background:
shocking events can bring panic & chaos in a school. The consequenses can be great on the victims en witnesses. Violent tragedies or confrontation with highly risk events can be very traumatic for teachers, students
If a violent incident took place, it can cause chaos & panic in a school.
With good skills, expertise and psychological aid, damage can be prevented and in some cases even trauma can be prevented.
Objectives:
Prevention of trauma , psychological aid , Practical help & procedures what to do in chaos & psycho- education for victims, which Coping skills can be used & How to speak to the media in crisis or chaos.

20 participants, psychologist & behaviour-scientits
Description of activities:
Basis skills, prevention in crisis, psychological aid, how to handle the media
Methodology :
Role play, plenary sessions, working groups, ICT, presentations, articles & books.
Description of results & Impact:
With coping skills for crisis & providing psychological aid the chances for trauma reduces.
