The overall objective of the project is to improve the infrastructure of border crossing points (BCPs) by means of creating modern methods of control, directed towards combating illegal commodities and vehicles movement through the customs border between Ukraine and Poland. Thanks to the project, it would be possible to increase the throughput capacity of the BCPs Rava-Ruska, Krakivets, Shegini and Yagodyn.Owing to new technical equipment for BCPs and acceleration of customs procedures, it would also be possible to improve smuggling prevention system. The main activities of the project include construction and reconstruction of buildings on BCP Rava-Ruska; the purchase of equipment for the reconstructed BCP Rava-Ruska,for BCPs Krakivets, Shegini and Yagodyn. The partners of the project also plan to conduct trainings and experience exchange.
