This project “Creating innovative future” is an extension of the efforts our school makes to improve use of ICT in the classroom, the outcomes of the educational process and make inclusion more effective. It also enhances our Government’s project “Computer for every child” and the access and quality of SEN students education. The project general objectives are: • supporting the professional development of the teachers which would lead to implementation of innovations and improvement of the teaching quality;• improving our schools capacities to implement changes related to modernization and internationalism. The project specific objectives are: • developing the competences of 4 teachers and 1 counselor for managing the inclusion in the classroom through a week-long training conducted by training companies experienced in realization of international trainings, which would lead to use of those competences in their everyday work and dissemination of the newly acquired skills and competences to the rest of the teachers in the school and wider;• developing the ICT skills by using innovative methodological approaches of 4 teachers through a week-long training conducted by training companies experienced in realization of international trainings, which would lead to enriched learning environment that would enable students to become actively involved in the learning process and enable teachers to personalize and adapt the activities to the students’ learning styles, learning strategies and skills through the use of digital tools and resources.The participants will be previously selected, based on strong selection criteria.After the training courses, the participants will conduct in-house trainings to the remaining teachers in the school (workshops in the school, open lessons, mentoring other teachers to help them implement the newly acquired skills and competences in their lessons). They will also disseminate on local level by organizing training workshops to teachers from schools in our municipality and other municipalities as well as contacting Unions and Associations of teachers and offering dissemination training on national level. Impact on the chosen teachers that will attend the training:• developing teachers’ competencies and skills through improvement and implementation of different learning techniques that will address the individual needs of students;• improving students’ learning process, creativity and innovation by utilizing modern digital tools and resources in the educational process.Impact on the students as directly involved participants in the educational process:• involving all students in the learning process, taking into consideration the individual needs of all children;• detecting and developing the potential of all students equally, including SEN students;• stimulating students’ interest not by traditional means and content, but by using digital tools and resources;• increasing students’ motivation and adding additional value to the methods and means of acquiring knowledge and skills, by using electronic educational materials.Impact on the other teachers in the school as well as teachers in the local schools and wider:• modeling a lifelong learning process and demonstrating leadership within the school and the local community through promotion and demonstration of effective usage of newly acquired skills and competences in practice.
