General objective of the project is to create an execution plan of backpacking trip system in the area of the borderless Szatmar-Bereg Nature Park. The project is implemented as a part of the development in the border-crossing, international Szatmar-Bereg Nature Park. The natural, cultural and landscape values are presented in the area of the historical Szatmar-Bereg in Hungary and also in Romania. The natural, cultural and landscape values do not end at the border, they are connected by many ways in the present days. The system presents how similar the region on both side of the border is. The target groups of the project are the local people and tourists of the borderless Szatmar-Bereg Nature Park, which means civilians, undertakers of tourism, shopkeepers. The growing demand of sustainable ecotourism will attract more funds in the international Szatmar-Bereg Nature Park, which means more workplaces in a disadvantaged region. The children and teachers of local educational institutions are also target groups of the project.
