CreARTivity
Start date: Aug 1, 2014, End date: Jan 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Given the fact that the number of young people without an independent financial source is increasing, it’s necessary that they make some changes, in order to solve this problem. How? Through developing their creativity, self-confidence, their means of communication, but also their capacity of learning continuously and their adaptability to new contexts. The CreARTivity project is a training course , with the purpose of preparing 24 young European workers, so that they are able to integrate easily in the labor market, by improving the qualities listed above. The core of this project is represented by the analysis and the use of theatre and drama as non-formal methods which will raise the chances of the young people to find jobs. Thereby, during the 8 days of the project, the participants will explore forum-theatre, Walt Disney brainstorming, green drama, improvisation theatre etc. These activities will culminate with the preparation of a labyrinth theatre by the participants, for other youngsters, which will summarize the essential moments and the project’s conclusions. This first step will assure the project’s impact, and along with materials, written brochures, they will contain the vital points of the Erasmus+ program, principles and methods of the non-formal education, but also the essential conclusions of the CreARTivity project. On a long term, the qualification and adaptation grade of the youngsters (participants and the stakeholders who will benefit of their experience) to the actual economical context will be improved. The project participants will be young workers, coming from 8 different countries, who will need to have experience in the facilitation and/or organization of at least one, but who are also interested in the art’s benefits in the process of one’s personal and professional development.
