The project is dedicated to research of the European HEIs’ experience in cooperation with employers and policy makers, dissemination of the accumulated knowledge and drawing-up recommendations for implementation in the Russian HEIs and the Russian educational system. Research is to be implemented by means of publications’ analysis, participation in corresponding workshops, seminars and conferences, analysis of policy measures and governance of HEIs/employers cooperation in EU. To summarize and disseminate the research results 4 round tables, 1 workshop and a conference are held. The events are conceived as tools to broaden the HEIs administrators knowledge of the recent developments in tertiary education sector in EU, enhancing academics’ teaching competences, creating a platform for the productive dialogue with employers, and providing students and employers with an incentive to participate in curriculum design and quality assurance. Events of the Project will unite over 150 participants, including leading experts from HEIs and EU institutions, as well as national administrations, to discuss goals, challenges and reforms in EHEA, and future cooperation in strengthening of education impact on building a sustainable society. The results of the research and publications, which describe the European experience, are allocated on the Project website, websites of the partner organizations and other open Internet sources for free access and download.The main goal of the project is to facilitate a dialogue between all actors of educational process of tertiary level, to address the long-standing issue of relevance of study programmes to real needs of employers in EU as a whole, and to introduce the progressive European experience in the North-West of Russia.Envisaged impact – enhanced quality of higher education, more attractive higher and further education, increase of employability for graduates, reveal advantages for employers in participating in educational process.
