Building on the results of the project “tour.reg”, the project objective is to enhance the quality of practical training for pupils by promoting cooperation between partners from the tourism sector and schools of tourism and hotel management. A focus has been placed on the organisation of high-quality internships. The planned measures include the creation of national Web portals for an enhanced flow of information between schools and the business sector; training sessions and the compilation of guidelines for broadening the profiles and competences of internship coordinators; and various activities revolving around the subject of “quality management in schools”, which will be documented together in an e-portfolio. The regional focus of the project enables an exchange of experience in this field between Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and Austria.
