Cooking for Inclusion
Start date: Jan 1, 2015, End date: Feb 29, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Cooking for inclusion is a strong project for supporting youth with fewer opportunities in their inclusion through cooking, using this life process as a creative and non formal tool for learning and empowerment. Partners from eight different countries: Spain, France, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Romania, Hungary and Austria will join together in three events in two different levels. The first one will be a 6 day long seminar in February 2015 for youth workers where the details of inclusion through cooking will be shaped. The second and third ones will be youth exchanges, the first of them will be 7 day long exchange between underaged youth from Germany and Austria in German language in April 2015 and the second one a 9 days long exchange between Spain, France, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Romania and Hungary in July 2015. In these two exchanges youth with fewer opportunities from different backgrounds will get together and develop their competencies through methods connected to cooking. Cooking for inclusion is coming from the interest of two different youth networks, Life is Creative informal network of organizations working with youth with fewer opportunities and Youth Express Network, member of the European youth Forum dealing with inclusion. Both networks started experimenting with cooking methods for inclusion in local level and after a series of meetings this is the first project where international youth will implement the methods together.
