The “Talk” (Conversaciones) Project, 2015. Participation and Youth politics in Europe is thought as a democratic “play” in which 30 young people of the “Cider Shire”( rural area situated in Asturias region) talk as a sample of all the young people in the zone to the managers in charge of the different levels of decision in youth issues, about their opinions, questions, asks, interests and knowledge of the application of youth politics (mainly European strategies) Using as method meetings, the project is organized in four activities: Activity 1. Meeting of presentation and group dynamics. 31st of January. Dynamics and group work that would make decisions about the practical and organizational issues, as well as the design and making an on-line survey with which having the point of view of the youth in the Region about the things that politicians would have to keep in mind. Activity 2. Working in youth politics at local level. 21st of February. Try to know by heart and work in the closest youth politics with the town youth councilman/councilwoman. Give documentary evidence to think about the politics and their support. And make an analysis of the result of the survey. Activity 3. Europe, democracy and citizens. 21st of March. Goals and similar structure to Activity 2, but with European scale. This would be to know by heart Europe, European work, their institution, Erasmus + programme and to work in the European citizens concept. Activity 4. Structured talk. 17-19th of April. Three days of meeting and living together, from 17th of April (European Day of the Youth Information) to Sunday 19th, between the young participants of the project and the mayors, regional politicians and three Asturian members of the European Parliament, where they would talk face to face about the different points of view in nowadays youth politics and their real influence. After making these activities, the results would be given to the young people of the “Cider Shire” in person in the educational centres and through new technologies applications. This would mean that the influence in the short period could affect in person to 200 of young people in the territory, plus the 30 participants; besides, we should add the answer by the new technologies and media impact. This project appears from the young participation groups that carry out their activity in each municipality of the “Cider Shire”, as a result of the motivation plans of their Youth Service.
