Construction of the Road Border Crossing in Dołhobyczów – 4 buildings (IPBU.02.02.01-06-003/09)

Construction of the road border crossing in Dolhobyczow will fill in a significant gap in the border infrastructure at the hitherto undeveloped section (139 km) of the Polish-Ukrainian border and ensure denser and more regular distribution of border crossing points between Poland and Ukraine, which is the objective pursued by both neighbouring states. The new border crossing point will provide new opportunities for the Polish-Ukrainian cooperation between the border regions and it will stimulate regional and local development. It will facilitate the contacts between local communities, what can lead to greater social integration.Scope of works to be performed include construction of detailed vehicle check facility, inspection terminals at the check lanes, building for detection dogs, sanitary buildings for passengers, roofing over the check lanes as well as roads, yards and fencing. The crossing will be also equipped with necessary facilities.
