This cluster aims to raise awareness for a greener sustainable environment with a high community involvement.Large efforts must be undertaken to reorganize living conditions into sustainable cities, eco-municipalities and eco-villages. Conscious efforts have to be made to increase people's awareness of their impact on the environment. Involving residents and social economy organizations will improve the ‘bottom up' approach of all partners with a guarantee of better results for the environment.The partnership consists of organizations that already have a focus on waste prevention but realise that energy needs a similar approach.Managing or better preventing, waste and using energy intelligently are dealt with using the same methods.
