Connecting the youth

“Connecting the youth” EVS project aims at promoting the discovering the country of Armenia, with the local volunteers and try to emphasize the country heritage: the traditions, customs , habits. The volunteer will become a cultural messengers and will bring the knowledge and experience back to their home. Together, all parties will learn to celebrate the broad diversity that exists in Europe, and help to strengthen the way to a larger, more encompassing European Union. One of the main objective is to allow EVS volunteers to discover themselves, to show different views and opinions of the coexistence of the roots and heritage of the Host country. During the project implementation we will bring the attention of young people from various cultural background to equality and diversity at the same time. The planned activities include- Preparing and making presentations, organizing different promotion actions, work with local volunteers;- Assisting in FYCA during the preparation and realization of local activities and community development projects;- Visiting different youth clubs, taking pictures and organize regional visits. By participating in various activities, the EVS volunteer will appreciate more that keeping ones’ cultural traditions; heritage is very important and traditions is what binds a nation and keep it united and unique. The project will be connected with youth, culture, PR and the country heritage. The volunteer has the opportunity to learn about active citizenship, inclusion and active participation as European abroad. This project will foster new friendships and inspire imaginations of everyone involved. The project envisages gaining new skills and knowledges by the volunteer which will help increase their chances at the labour market and provide good opportunities for career growth - and thus contribute to the development of their own country upon their return.
