The aim of the project is to increase cultural understanding and mutual respect in both thecountries, at the same time implementing a sub-plan on the shaping of attitudes in theMunicipality of South Varang with regard to north-west Russia. The project serves as a meansfor generating information, developing co-operation and interaction, and stressing the things thatthe Norwegian educational system can learn from the Russian educational system as regards thequality of education. The second stage of the project will be devoted to the use of the Internet asa project tool.
