Comparaison des modes de vie à travers les échanges européens
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The objective of this project is to strengthen the attractiveness of Raphaël Elize (former Colbert de Torcy - Charles Cros) high-school by developing the teaching of foreign languages in non-language subjects in all sectors, including technology. Our choice is more specifically focused on the STMG sector (Science and management and management technologies) to link courses to the world of business. For this, a group of four volunteer teachers and a colleague in the School environment (CPE) has chosen to present a mobility project in Britain, Portugal and Ireland under the Erasmus + device. This project will develop cultural and professional prospects for Raphaël Elizé (former Colbert de Torcy - Charles Cros) high school students and staff. It will also develop interdisciplinary work based on federative themes (European mobility and daily life in the partner countries). The job shadowing, teaching assignments abroad, structured courses will be useful tools for the creation of lessons and activities (both for students and colleagues involved or not in existing courses such as the English and mathematics European course). The main purpose is to favour the future students' mobility, in a context of cultural open-mindedness and linguistic awareness supported by the Erasmus + device, but also to create emulation. In the long term, the project implementation will improve language practice which is required to organize new partnerships or reinforce former ones (with the Group of Schools Damião Goes to Alenquer, 40 km from Lisbon).
