Common disease notification system and database development and its extension to the Hungarian–Romanian border area – Joint Health Network (JOHN)

The project aims to put in practice a monitoring and reporting system regarding the epidemiological issues in the region.The target group is represented by professional personnel of the health institution from both countries, and as indirect target, the entire population along the border of the two countries. The main result of the project are connected to installation and operation of specialized software, that will able to collect and analyze the data referring to epidemic situations, exchange real data between the two countries, with the aim of reducing the time for implementation of mitigation measures in the area, including isolation the affected area.The specific objectives of the project are:1. Development of an on-line infection notification system compatible with the EFRIR and INEPIR systems2. Territorial expansion and further development of system INEPIR elaborated in the previous cross-border co-operation project3. Ensuring the right functioning of the system to be developed by creating institutional, infrastructural and professional background
