COMBAR - Developing pedagogical e-methodology and e-tools to overcome communicativ barriers to the delivery of VET to remote and peripheral regions

This project is dedicated at improving access to vocational education in remote or peripheral regions facing communicative barriers, e.g. in the form of language, culture and geography. The aim is to develop a pedagogical concept and tools to overcome the communicative barriers. The concept will be based on the combination of work situated learning and the introduction of mentors in the learner's daily environment combined with state of the art e-learning solutions. Activities will include the development of a network of mentors sensitive to communicative barriers and the introduction of an e-learning platform.
