Coburger Mobilität für europäische Identität und Kompetenz
Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The Staatliche Berufsschule I Coburg (vocational School BSZ I) would like to proceed its efforts of internationalisation. Enabled on the one hand by use of leaners´ mobility and on the other hand by staff mobility as well. Within the two-year duration of the project, altogether 40 apprentices of the electric, wood and metal Domains, advanced their opportunities on the job market by means of three-week internships in Belgium, Austria, and Sweden. In the companies, appropriate to their qualified job, the apprentices worked closely with the native employees and covered specific learning fields. One focus was on the field of automation. The trainees are in the third year of training. They are located in the run through the companies at the moment, and work in companies which operate Europe- and worldwide. With additional work experience, pupils should extend their professional and language competence and should consent to go abroad for their domestic companies for assembly operations. Moreover the European identity of the trainees should be encouraged through cultural events. Thus a memorial event “100 Years Great War” from all pupils and teachers of all partner countries was taking place in Belgium. Thereby teachers as well as pupils realised the importance of a common and peaceful Europe for everyone and should speek up for this in future. The staff in particular matched its professional knowledge with the international standards and acquired new learning styles. Following this knowledge was passed on the whole faculty. In addition, the know-how should be included into final examinations for an orientation by international standards and suggestions for project works, which should take place in the new established professional school for technique for machine tools in Coburg. It was mainly collected at the HTL Vöcklabruck. In Sweden the teaching stuff should become acquainted with the system of ECVET, in order to make the learning result transparent and Europe-wide comparable. Due to its many years of experience in mobility and partnership projects, the GTC Göteborg is familiar with this domain. In Belgium, in context of the annual partner day at VTI Waregem it should be voted for the common organisation of mobilities, secondly it should be spoken up for common peaceful togetherness in Europe. For this purpose as already mentioned above a memorial event “100 Years Great War” took place with the involvement of every representative of the partner countries. Furthermore the goal is to extend cross-border a cooperation net between schools, companies and chambers to react flexibly on ups and downs of the education and employment market in Europe. Furthermore it is necessary to establish contact for new partnership projects and to offer support to other schools or training companies for their own applications for mobility projects.
