"Co-Operate" - labour market model program along the Drava (Co-Op)
Start date: May 31, 2011, End date: Sep 29, 2012 PROJECT  FINISHED 

Based on a previously implemented project run by the Lead Beneficiary, the Co-Op project seeks to improve the employment possibilites for the workers in the border area, with special emphasis on the disadvantaged groups (minorities, women, hendicapped). The project will include a series of events including job fairs, open-door days, workshops and cultural events targeted at the employers and jobseekers and aiming at achieving the finalisation of the need assessment and the overview of labor market, adult training experience exchange, presentation of possibilities of the EU, supported employment, social entrepreneurship, etc. Achievements: Aiming to improve the long-term situation on the labour market of the border region, and with special focus on disadvantaged groups, the partners in the project organised several events providing support to the most vulnerable members of the communities. A number of workshops, information days, trainings and exchange programmes was organised to present the unemployed with opportunities open to them on the labour market. At the same time trainings were organised for labour market stakeholders, preparing them for closer co-operation within the new, mobile EU labour market
