CNC Kompetenzzenter mit der multimedialen Software

The main purpose of the project was to enhance the quality of vocational engineering education through the use of innovative learning tools. During the course of the 2-year project, SYMplus 5.2 software was developed and translated into Estonian, TTK University of Applied Sciences acquired its licence and the software is now used in learning process. Workbooks, CNCplus DREHEN (Turning) and CNCplus FRÄSEN (Milling) in Estonian were published, 2 multilingual dictionaries (Estonian and Lithuanian) of CNC-terms were published and all the publications are used in learning process. The Competence Centre with its 13 virtual workplaces was opened for students and in-service trainees in September 2011.
